TA’s Finals Fever hits Gil Fraser

4’s @ 12:30pm and 3s @ 2:40pm

This Saturday there’s going to be a TA’s takeover at Gil Fraser with both the 3rds and 4ths playing in Elimination Finals.

The first game being dubbed “The Christan Brother Cracker” will see the might Trinity Aquinas take on Fremantle C.B.C. These two teams have met twice this year for varying results. The first time at Morris Buzzacot the two teams walked away with a draw. The two teams couldn’t be separated after regular time and with a shot after the siren, TA’s Jarrod Ng failed to register a score. The second meeting of the teams occurred at Bill Grayden, where TA’s ran away as 30point winners. This game is sure to split Archdiocese in Perth. Bounce down at 12:35pm.

The second game of the afternoon will see TA’s take on North Freo, adding another finals match to a storied 3rds rivalry built on big Finals and Grand Finals. This Match will be no different. During the season the teams split the results. The first game at Gil Fraser in round 7 was an arm wrestle from siren to siren and TA’s could never quite gain ascendency losing by 16 points. The two teams met again in the last round of the Season. Knowing the game was a preview for an Elimination Final, the teams didn’t hold back wanting to assert dominance. TA’s came away winners from this hard-fought slog by 20 points at Wyong Reserve. Bouncedown is at 2:30pm.

We strongly encourage all members of the TA’s Family to make their way down to Gil Fraser, wearing Blue and getting behind the boys in these Do-Or-Die Finals.
